Running a webinar is an excellent way to boost sales of your course. Whether it is a webinar, masterclass, workshop, or another name, you can follow the same tips to get amazing results in terms of sales. All these tips can help if you’re wondering how to create webinar sales funnel, whether you opt for a live or pre-recorded webinar.

How to Set Up Webinar Sales Funnel?

Step #1. Create Webinar That Is Valuable

The first thing to do is make sure that your webinar is valuable. It needs to provide value to your attendees, or it will not accomplish its goal.

To start, you won’t be able to attract people to the webinar if it doesn’t offer something useful. They will just see it as a waste of time. And if you get people to sign up for your webinar, but it is lackluster, it will hurt their impression of your offerings. They will assume that the course you are trying to sell is no different from other webinars and assume it isn’t worth the cost or time.

Step #2. Have an Email Capture Form

The most important part of learning how to create webinar sales funnel is to include an email capture form. This is crucial as you will use the email addresses in your automated sequences later. Why are email addresses so important?

Email addresses don’t change. They aren’t subject to algorithm changes like social media followers are. Once you get someone’s email address, you will have it forever. This gives you the opportunity to sell to them even if they leave the platform they found you on.

Step #3. Pitch an Exclusive Product at the End of the Webinar

As you create your webinar, be sure to include a pitch for your product at the end of it. Ideally, this will include something exclusive. For example, at the end of our masterclass, we pitch our course that we also market in other ways.

Importantly, people who attend the webinar get access to four or five bonuses just because of attending. We mention this in the pitch, adding even more value.

Step #4. Use an Automated Sales Sequence

After the webinar, take the email addresses given to you and put them into a sales sequence followed by a nurture sequence. The sales sequence will push the same course or product that you promoted at the end of the webinar.

Step #5. Use an Automated Nurture Sequence

As you learn how to create webinar sales funnel, you’ll learn to automatically transition to the nurture sequence once the sales sequence ends. This sequence is designed to keep you and your course or product fresh in the minds of your leads. Yes, the prospects are hottest right after the webinar. But there is also a good chance they will wait to buy until the timing is right.

The nurture campaign should have at least one email each week. We typically send two or three emails a week, depending on the YouTube videos we post.

Conclusion

To use your webinar to sell stuff, make sure to set up webinar sales funnel that offers value and collects email addresses in exchange for access. Include a pitch at the end of the webinar, complete with exclusives for attendees. Finally, use those email addresses on automated email sequences, starting with a sales sequence and followed by a nurture sequence.
